The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Torres is defended easily by Lopes.
Lopes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Torres shoots in and drives through. Lopes sprawls well.

Torres gets a takedown into half guard.
Lopes is trying to get back to full guard.

Torres is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Torres works his way into full mount!
Lopes sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Lopes wants to improve his position but Torres is controlling well.

Torres moves into full mount! Lopes won't be happy about that!

Lopes bucks Torres off and manages to get back to his feet!
Lopes lands a glancing blow to the side of Torres's head.
Lopes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lopes misses the shot to the body.
Lopes stuffs the takedown attempt from Torres. Torres gets slowly back to his feet.
Roryon Lopes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Torres.
Torres shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lopes pinned against the cage. Lopes gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lopes displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Torres.

Torres walks into a left hand.
Lopes thows a body shot but no joy.
Lopes scores with a decent looking hook.

Torres is rocked!
Lopes misses with a hook. Torres ducked under it nicely.
Torres is still on wobbly legs! Can Lopes finish him?
Lopes circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Torres tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Lopes wins by KO!
