Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matheus Gomes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nano Sungia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sungia throws a jab but it's blocked by Gomes.
Gomes looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Sungia is looking to slow Gomes down with leg kicks.
Danga de danga de dang - Sungia scores with a four punch combination!
Sungia looks to land a right hand but Gomes moved out of range.
Gomes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sungia.
Sungia thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Gomes if he has to take too many more of those.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sungia misses with a jab, cross combination.
Sungia fakes the leg kick and cracks Gomes in the body.

Sungia lands a left and a right that send Gomes crashing to the mat, dazed. Sungia thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gomes is rocked!

It looks like Matheus Gomes has been cut.
Sungia connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Oh Gomes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sungia with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Gomes seems to have got his legs back now.
A combination from Sungia does no damage.

Sungia tries to bum rush Gomes with a series of wild strikes but Gomes uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Sungia fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Gomes.
Sungia ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gomes moves away.

Sungia lands a big head kick that sends Gomes tumbling to the mat! Sungia takes a step backwards and waves Gomes back to his feet - he wants the finish!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sungia throws a series of punches but Gomes avoids them all with ease.
Oh Gomes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A thudding body kick lands there by Sungia!
Gomes seems to have got his legs back now.
Gomes on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Gomes throws a shot from downtown. Sungia moves away and avoids it.

Sungia drops Gomes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Gomes looks back up at him and smiles so Sungia waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Gomes tries to move into range but Sungia moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Sungia lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Gomes falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
