Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boy Alimuom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romuald Kalfas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alimuom drives through with a takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Alimuom postures up in Kalfas's guard and throws a big left but Kalfas blocks it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kalfas feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Alimuom wants to stand and escape but Kalfas is having none of it.

Kalfas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alimuom gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Alimuom got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kalfas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alimuom has managed to get both his arms back between Kalfas's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kalfas tries to stall but Alimuom uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Kalfas is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Alimuom gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Alimuom jumps guard but Kalfas stands there with Alimuom around his waist. Alimuom gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Alimuom shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kalfas pinned against the cage. Kalfas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Alimuom shoots for a double leg takedown but Kalfas sprawls well. He's pushed Alimuom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

and Kalfas counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Alimuom!
