The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benn tries to clinch up but Flats circles away and keeps his distance.

Benn uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Flats.
Benn takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Benn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

and Flats counters with a three punch combo that has Benn backing up. Benn nods at Flats to acknowledge the strikes.
Flats lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Flats tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Benn was well out of range. Poor timing from Flats.
Benn takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Benn looks gassed!
Flats lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Flats.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Flats cracks Benn with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Benn tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Flats pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Benn is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
