Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brian Nadeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cardinal Richelieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cardinal Richelieu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richelieu misses the shot to the body.
Richelieu comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Richelieu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Nadeau keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Richelieu.
Richelieu stuffs the takedown.
Richelieu throws a lazy right hand but Nadeau sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nadeau takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Brian Nadeau has been cut.

Richelieu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Richelieu thuds his right hand into Nadeau's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Cardinal Richelieu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nadeau takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Richelieu throws a hook but Nadeau avoids it easily.

and Nadeau counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
