Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hjuuts Cassi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cassi comes to the cage accompanied by Het Wilhelmus. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cassi looks for a takedown but Cole sprawls well.
Cole keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Cassi shoots in for a double leg but Cole sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Cole shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cole was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

I looks like Cole might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Cassi wants to control but Cole is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cole goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Cassi is on top in guard.
Cole wants to stand up but Cassi is controlling him.

Cole pushes Cassi off and gets back to his feet.

Cole tries to close the distance and clinch but Cassi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cole misses with a series of wild punches.

Cole takes Cassi's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

Cassi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cole is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
