Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alex Butorin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Henry Bisher!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksandr Martynov and Konstantin Menshow.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butorin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Butorin gets a takedown into half guard.
Butorin not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bisher tries to roll over but Butorin keeps him under control.

Butorin wants to work for an arm triangle but Bisher is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Bisher works his way to full guard. Good work.
Bisher throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Bisher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Butorin's guard.
Butorin keeping moving, preventing Bisher from controlling successfully.
Bisher pushes down on Butorin's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Bisher is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Bisher is looking for a kimura here.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Butorin is controlling an arm, preventing Bisher from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Bisher is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Butorin has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Bisher has hold of Butorin's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Butorin manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Butorin tries to buck Bisher off but he can't manage it.

Bisher working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Butorin turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Bisher off and cradles Butorin's limp body as Bisher celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Henry Bisher!
