Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mr Average Joe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juha Turunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turunen blocks a head kick by Joe.
Turunen fails to land the takedown.
Joe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Turunen's waist but Turunen gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Joe off to one side.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Turunen has eaten all the pies!
Good work by Turunen as he checks the leg kick.

Joe moves into the clinch.
Joe wants to get back to striking at distance but Turunen won't allow it.

Turunen breaks from the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Turunen or perhaps it was just good defense by Joe which made him look bad.
Good leg kick by Joe there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Joe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Joe darts in and clinches Turunen up against the cage.
Joe is pressed up against the cage. Turunen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Joe down to the mat. Joe avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Turunen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Turunen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Turunen avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Turunen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Joe is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Joe pushes Turunen off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Turunen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Joe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Joe is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Turunen regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Joe.

Turunen looks for a takedown but Joe sprawls well.
Turunen closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Joe changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Turunen tries to avoid it but Joe manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Turunen to the ground. Turunen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Turunen throws a series of punches but Joe avoids them all with ease.
Turunen moves out of range of the leg kick from Joe.
Joe shoots for a double leg takedown but Turunen sprawls well. He's pushed Joe's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
