Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Kashanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nicola Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimbo Kashanko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicola Diaz! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz gets caught flat footed, as Kashanko shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Diaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kashanko trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Diaz wants to sweep but no luck.
Kashanko drops back, looking for a kneebar! Diaz looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Diaz looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Diaz! A bit of a lull in the action here. Diaz takes a little break here. Kashanko wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Kashanko regains half guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Kashanko is looking to control Diaz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kashanko avoid being mounted? Kashanko moves into full guard.
Diaz wants to control from the top but Kashanko keeps moving. Kashanko utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kashanko holds on and takes a little breather. Kashanko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Diaz is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Diaz looking to sit in guard and control but Kashanko gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kashanko tries to free his leg and advance position but Diaz is retaining full guard. Diaz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Kashanko is pushing down on Diaz's leg trying to pass to half guard. Diaz is fighting to maintain full guard but Kashanko has managed to sneak the leg through. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kashanko wants to work for an arm triangle but Diaz is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Kashanko is working for a kimura but Diaz is defending it quite comfortably.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Diaz misses with a takedown
and Kashanko counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Diaz's guard now. Kashanko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diaz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Diaz wants to stand up but Kashanko is controlling him. Kashanko sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Diaz's guard. Diaz wants to control but Kashanko is keeping busy.
Diaz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kashanko's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kashanko's back! And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimbo Kashanko dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Kashanko blocks a head kick by Diaz.

and Kashanko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Diaz is on top in guard.

Kashanko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.  That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz stays in close to Kashanko's body and controls the position. Diaz is looking to stand up but Kashanko won't let him. Kashanko keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass. Kashanko bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diaz's guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Diaz is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Diaz keeping full guard, as Kashanko tries to pass.
Kashanko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Kashanko drops back looking for a leg! Diaz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diaz manages to kick Kashanko off! Kashanko jumps back into Diaz's guard.
Kashanko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Diaz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Diaz has escaped and now he's on top! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jimbo Kashanko will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Diaz has his takedown stuffed
and Kashanko counters by clinching up.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Kashanko drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Diaz gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kashanko has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Diaz avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Diaz successfully pulls guard.
Kashanko drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Diaz dives on top into guard. Diaz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kashanko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Diaz must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kashanko looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Diaz is pushing down on Kashanko's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kashanko is fighting to maintain full guard but Diaz has managed to sneak the leg through. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Kashanko is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Jimbo Kashanko overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Jimbo Kashanko showed his dominance in that final round. Well Kashanko has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
