The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Voisin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Tennant throws a looping overhand right but Voisin ducks down to avoid it.
Voisin misses with a series of wild punches.
Tennant avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Voisin tries to score with a low kick but Tennant moves his leg out of the way.

Tennant seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Tennant looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Voisin with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Tennant drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Voisin dives on top into guard.
Tennant manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Voisin manages to get himself to full guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tennant accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
