The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Souza has Hand Grernade pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Souza pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Hand Grernade tumbling to the mat - Souza dives into Hand Grernade's guard.

Hand Grernade had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Souza is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hand Grernade Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Souza's back instead.
