Kovalenko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Judas Priest - Grinder. Giril Kovalenko could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Virgil Albers's chin.

Albers looks to score with a jab to the body but Kovalenko is just out of range.

Albers leaves Kovalenko with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Albers wants to stand but Kovalenko has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Kovalenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
