Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jay Roc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roc comes to the cage accompanied by Hey Man, Nice Shot. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jay Roc!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Munoz!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roc leaves Munoz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Roc tries to close the distance and clinch up but Munoz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Roc's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Roc duly obliges.

Roc closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Roc lands in his opponent's guard.

Roc drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Roc jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Roc pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Munoz is keeping the position for now.

Munoz looking for a guillotine here but Roc defends easily.
Roc trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Roc wants to stand but Munoz has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Roc won't allow Munoz to sweep him here.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Munoz is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
A head kick misses from Munoz.
A looping hook to the body misses from Roc. Munoz does a little dance to reset his feet.
Roc shoots and misses

and Munoz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Roc!
Roc tries to hold on but Munoz pushes him away.
Munoz moves to back control.
Roc tries to break free.
Munoz is trying to stick to Roc's back but Roc is turning into Munoz. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Munoz's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Roc.
Roc is looking to stand up but Munoz won't let him.
Roc won't allow Munoz to sweep him here.

Munoz throws his legs up looking for a submission but Roc uses it to pass to side control.
Munoz looks gassed!

Roc is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Munoz is trying to escape and Roc transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Munoz is forced to tap! Nice work there by Roc! Very nice indeed!
