Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Gunnar Laaki!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinfey scores with a jab. Laaki acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Gunnar Laaki has been cut.
Akinfey tries to clinch up but Laaki circles away and keeps his distance.
Akinfey gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A knee to the head by Akinfey.
Laaki tries to pull guard but Akinfey holds him up against the cage and eventually Laaki drops back down to his feet.
Laaki tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Akinfey avoids it.
Laaki wants a takedown but no success here.
Akinfey pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Akinfey is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Laaki.
Akinfey drops Laaki with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Laaki looks back up at him and smiles so Akinfey waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Akinfey lands a brutal uppercut that launches Laaki off his feet! Laaki tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Akinfieye Akinfey!
