Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bionic Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexx Sigurd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Eliza Hachem and Summer Carpenter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sigurd tries to clinch but Hawk is having none of it.

Hawk feints and as Sigurd raises his hands in defense, Hawk changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hawk throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hawk trying to control but Sigurd is working from the bottom.
Hawk is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Hawk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sigurd swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hawk has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Sigurd is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hawk is controlling him.

Hawk is standing up over Sigurd. Sigurd looks to escape but Hawk dives into side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hawk decides to take the fight back to the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sigurd doesn't manage to clinch there - Hawk circles away.
Sigurd tries to clinch up.

Hawk shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Hawk looking to sit in guard and control but Sigurd gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Sigurd wants to stand but Hawk has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hawk avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Sigurd tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hawk swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Hawk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Sigurd is letting Hawk control him for a moment.
Hawk is trying to ground and pound but Sigurd uses the momentary lack of control by Hawk to regain half guard.
Sigurd is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hawk throwing shots but Sigurd is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hawk prevents Sigurd from standing back up.

Hawk stands up out of the half guard.

Hawk closes the distance and clinches.
Sigurd misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hawk.
Hawk drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Sigurd gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Sigurd looks to throw an elbow but misses.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sigurd misses with a knee to the head.
Hawk tries a knee to the head but Sigurd blocks it.
Sigurd with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Sigurd is breathing heavily.
Sigurd connects with a knee to the head.

Hawk is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Sigurd gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Hawk tries to pull guard but Sigurd holds him up against the cage and eventually Hawk drops back down to his feet.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hawk is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Hawk is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sigurd sees it coming and defends easily.

Sigurd wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hawk is trying to work for a kimura but Sigurd is defending well.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hawk, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
