Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Cocks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuck Liddell told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A jab-cross combination lands for Liddell and sends Cocks crashing to the mat! Liddell follows him down to the mat - Cocks regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

It looks like Steve Cocks has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cocks is looking to escape.
Cocks is pressing down on Liddell's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Liddell throws and elbow that misses. Cocks uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Liddell's guard. Nice move by Cocks!
Cocks trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Cocks drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cocks jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Cocks advances position into side control!
Liddell wants to get back to his feet but Cocks drags him back down.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A lull in the action here as Cocks stalls from top position.
Liddell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Cocks is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Liddell is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Liddell wants to get back to his feet but Cocks drags him back down.
Liddell prevents Cocks from moving into mount.
Liddell can't do much from the bottom here.
Check out the look on Cocks's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Cocks throws an elbow but Liddell slips to the side and avoids it well.
Liddell is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cocks has just dragged him back down to the mat.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Liddell drops Cocks with a huge uppercut! Cocks drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Liddell is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
