The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Lombardi throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lombardi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Lombardi throws a jab but it's blocked by Turner.

Lombardi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turner sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Lombardi feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Turner's calf.

and Lombardi counters with a body kick that stops Turner in his tracks momentarily.

Lombardi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Turner throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Lombardi counters with a body kick that stops Turner in his tracks momentarily.

Turner takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lombardi lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Lombardi lands a front kick.

Turner avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Turner steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Lombardi. That one must have hurt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Lombardi.
Lombardi misses with a straight right.
Turner is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lombardi, right into the meat.
Turner avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lombardi lands a brutal head kick. Turner looks out on his feet and Lombardi throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
