Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sasuki Takura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Mir (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sasuki Takura has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takura decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Takura keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Takura wants to free his trapped foot but Mir is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Takura is working hard here to advance position.
Takura performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Takura stops Mir from getting back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Takura looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Mir gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Mir should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Takura is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Takura wants to pass the guard but Mir is keeping the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Takura trying to control the position from guard on top but Mir is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Takura is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Mir is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Takura stops Mir from standing up.
Takura tries to free his leg and advance position but Mir is retaining full guard.
Takura wants to control from the top but Mir keeps moving.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mir lands a two punch combo.
Mir goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Takura dodges the punch combination from Mir.
Mir fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Mir moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Mir scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Takura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mir sprawls well initially but Takura persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Takura is looking for a kimura but Mir is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Takura to get the leverage.

Mir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Takura. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Takura seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Mir is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
