The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bergmanis takes a swing at Jones's ribcage but misses.
Jones looks to throw the jab but Bergmanis is out of range.
Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones misses with the combination.
Jones misses with a double jab.
Jones takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bergmanis misses with a straight left.
Raimonds Bergmanis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bergmanis shoots for a double leg takedown but Jones sprawls well. He's pushed Bergmanis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Jones stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jones wants it to stay on the feet.
Jones keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
