Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Vinny Veechi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Kick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kick has chosen M.O.P. - Ante Up as his entrance music. Mike Kick will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Kick!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veechi missing with a left hand there. Kick was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kick throws a body punch but Veechi moves out of range.
Kick just misses with a punch to the body.
Veechi avoids the body shot from Kick.
Veechi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Kick in his tracks.
Kick throws out a loose jab but Veechi uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kick avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Veechi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Veechi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kick throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Veechi dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kick. That did some damage!
Veechi scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Veechi.
Veechi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kick keeps working.
Kick is being controlled here.
Veechi scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kick to see if he's OK.
Kick sneaks out the side door and pushes Veechi away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

A swing and a miss from Kick.
Veechi throws a hook but Kick blocks it.
Kick throws a big shot that misses.
Kick misses with a body kick.
Mike Kick is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kick throws a predictable looking body shot
and Veechi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Kick's guard now.
Kick wants to stand up but Veechi is controlling him.
Kick wants to sweep here but Veechi controlling him for the moment.
Kick looks gassed!
Veechi pushing down on Kick's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Veechi not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Veechi trying to control from half guard but Kick is working away.
Veechi sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Kick defending well though.
Veechi lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Kick trying to get back to full guard but Veechi takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Veechi cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Veechi wants to control the pace but Kick is squirming around nicely.
Veechi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Kick hang on?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Veechi thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Veechi avoids the attempt from Kick to control.
Veechi unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kick wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Veechi celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
