Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolf Spicer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spicer has chosen Sepultura - Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Isaac Cox had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Isaac Cox ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 15 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rolf Spicer! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spicer dives in and grabs Cox 's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cox pushes down on Spicer's head and hops out. Cox throws a wild body kick that Spicer sees coming a mile off. Cox throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Spicer's waist but Spicer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cox off to one side. Cox throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Cox doesn't manage to clinch there - Spicer circles away.
Cox fails with the takedown and Spicer counters with a takedown into side control. The strikes coming from Spicer are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Spicer looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Cox gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Spicer counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Cox 's guard now. Cox throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Spicer escapes and throws Cox 's legs to the side, diving into side control! Spicer tries to score with some ground and pound. Cox controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Cox is trying to control Spicer's posture but Spicer avoids it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Spicer tries to clinch but Cox moves away and Cox counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cox . Cox goes for a takedown attempt but Spicer pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Rolf Spicer showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Cox throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Spicer looks to clinch and Cox counters with a nice body shot. Isaac Cox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Spicer closes the distance looking to clinch and Cox moves into the clinch. Spicer is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Cox pulls him back up using the underhooks. Spicer prevents the takedown attempt.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Spicer. Cox jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Spicer walks away with a smile on his face. Cox gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Spicer pushes Cox up against the cage in a clinch. Spicer prevents Cox from breaking the clinch. Spicer tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Spicer shoots in but no luck this time. Cox shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Spicer pinned against the cage. Spicer gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Spicer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cox but Cox pushes him off and we're back to square one.
