The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Duran rushes Carty and presses him up against the cage.
Carty looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Duran tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Carty paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carty should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Duran lands with a hook. Carty tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Mark Carty has been cut.
Carty swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Duran makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Duran lands a slapping body shot.
Carty takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Duran lands with a nice combination. Carty backs away looking to recover.
Duran tries to clinch but Carty moves out of range.

Duran fails in his attempt to clinch.
Duran connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Carty! He's out on his feet! Duran rushes in and drops Carty with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
