Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eldridge Bronson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Qualls (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eldridge Bronson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Noah Qualls!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qualls shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bronson sprawls well. Bronson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Qualls gets slowly back to his feet.
Bronson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bronson.
Qualls looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Qualls uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bronson.
Qualls looks to land a right hand but Bronson moved out of range.
Bronson lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Qualls misses with an uppercut. Bronson saw that one coming.

and Bronson counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bronson wanted to stand there but Qualls had control of the position.
Qualls wants to sweep here but Bronson controlling him for the moment.

Bronson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Qualls is working an open guard so Bronson takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Qualls rushes Bronson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bronson is trying to force a seperation but Qualls has the dominant position.
Bronson wants to get back to striking at distance but Qualls won't allow it.

Qualls has Bronson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Qualls pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bronson tumbling to the mat - Qualls dives into Bronson's guard.
Qualls in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Qualls postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bronson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Qualls, into his guard.

Qualls has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bronson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bronson stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Qualls tries for a takedown but Bronson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bronson throws a combination. Qualls tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Eldridge Bronson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noah Qualls.

and Qualls counters with a shoot takedown. Bronson fights it but they end up in guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Qualls takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bronson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

and Qualls counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Eldridge Bronson dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Qualls fails with a takedown attempt.

Bronson looks to score with a jab to the body but Qualls is just out of range.

Bronson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Qualls is squirming around, avoiding Bronson's attempts to control the action.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Qualls tries to hold on but Bronson pushes him away.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Qualls sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Bronson wants to stand but Qualls has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Noah Qualls has got the better of the ground game so far.
Bronson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Qualls manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bronson manages to get himself to full guard.

Qualls drops back looking for a leg! Bronson is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bronson manages to kick Qualls off! Qualls jumps back into Bronson's guard.
Bronson wants to get back to his feet but Qualls is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Qualls slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Qualls is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bronson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bronson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Qualls on the ground.

Noah Qualls showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Qualls has closed the distance and engaged Bronson in a clinch.
Qualls is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bronson pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Qualls pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Qualls swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Bronson drops his hands momentarily and Qualls takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Qualls jabbing away but nothing is landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Qualls jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Bronson is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Bronson and Qualls has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Bronson pushes Qualls away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Qualls gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Qualls is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bronson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Qualls goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Bronson is on top in guard.

Qualls is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bronson is aware though and is defending well.

Bronson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Qualls has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bronson has managed to get both his arms back between Qualls's legs - danger averted.

Noah Qualls comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Qualls has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
