Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Li Tsang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabiano Marques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabiano Marques told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsang tries to bum rush Marques with a series of wild strikes but Marques uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tsang gets caught flat footed, as Marques shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Marques thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Marques sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tsang's guard.
Tsang is trying to get back to full guard.
Tsang is trying to stand.
Tsang is pressing down on Marques's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Marques is looking to work some ground and pound but Tsang has wrist control.
Marques thows a big elbow that misses.
Marques has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Tsang misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tsang misses with a double jab.
Tsang will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Tsang is looking to clinch.
Tsang throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Marques.

Tsang lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Marques circles away quickly and effectively.
Tsang misses with a few strikes there.
Tsang throws a sloppy head kick and Marques moves out of range easily.
Tsang scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Tsang rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marques moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tsang throws a right and a left that Marques avoids nicely.
Tsang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Tsang throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Marques swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Li Tsang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Marques is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Tsang's half guard.

Marques seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Tsang is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
