Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between tommy gunn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Figgy Hoops (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoops comes into a darkened arena with his song building. What Up Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoops looks to throw the jab but gunn is out of range.
Hoops looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
gunn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

gunn fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hoops sprawls well initially but gunn persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hoops is looking to control gunn's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hoops avoid being mounted?

gunn is looking for a kimura but Hoops is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for gunn to get the leverage.
Hoops really doesn't want to stay on the ground with gunn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

gunn is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hoops doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time gunn.
Hoops wants to improve his position but gunn is controlling well.
gunn wants to take a breather but Hoops is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hoops is trying to get back to full guard.

gunn is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hoops is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
gunn works his foot free and advances to mount.
gunn wants to take Hoops's back here but Hoops is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

gunn is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hoops is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hoops flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. gunn anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hoops and secures both hooks! This could be bad! gunn slips an arm under Hoops chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. gunn has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. gunn is squeezing on Hoops like an anaconda would it's prey. Hoops fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
