The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner is looking to clinch.
Turner doesn't manage to clinch there - Ogawa circles away.
Turner tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ogawa swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Ogawa feints and as Turner raises his hands in defense, Ogawa changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ogawa pushing down on Turner's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Ogawa is trying to control the action in half guard but Turner is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Ogawa perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ogawa prevents Turner from standing back up.

Ogawa wants to work for an arm triangle but Turner is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

You get the feeling that Turner really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Turner is breathing heavily.
Turner is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Ogawa has taken his back!

Turner is trying to defend against the choke here but Ogawa has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Ogawa Tightens the hold and Turner taps out furiously! Ogawa displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
