Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mud Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Mud Slice enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mud Slice!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slice misses with a head kick.
Gracie shoots in but Slice avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Slice defends it well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Slice can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slice keeps working.
Slice tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slice throws and elbow that misses. Gracie uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Slice's guard. Nice move by Gracie!

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gracie doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Slice counters with a takedown into side control.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sloppy strikes there by Slice.
The ground and pound from Slice seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
Slice misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Gracie is trying to escape the position but Slice is controlling the position.

Slice working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Slice is looking to take a break and control but Gracie is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Slice creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Gracie sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Slice postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Gracie takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Gracie is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Gracie is letting Slice control him for a moment.

Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Slice is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold.

Mud Slice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Gracie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Mud Slice comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Slice has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
