Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsufubu Rofuru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ajax Anstice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matsufubu Rofuru has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rofuru shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Anstice as he avoids it easily.
Anstice throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Rofuru looks for a takedown but Anstice sprawls well.
Anstice tries to bum rush Rofuru with a series of wild strikes but Rofuru uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Rofuru shoots in for a double leg but Anstice sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rofuru shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Anstice really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rofuru. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Anstice is looking to stand up but Rofuru isn't so interested in that idea.

Rofuru is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Anstice has managed to free his arm - good work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Rofuru in particular looking to stall.

Rofuru drops back looking for a leg! Anstice is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Anstice manages to kick Rofuru off! Rofuru jumps back into Anstice's guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Rofuru has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
