The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Filipovic darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Weed gets back to full guard.
Filipovic trying to control the position from guard on top but Weed is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Weed looking for a guillotine here but Filipovic defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Filipovic trying to control but Weed is working from the bottom.
Filipovic wants to pass the guard but Weed is keeping the position.

Weed had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Filipovic defends it easily.

Weed working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Filipovic doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Filipovic manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Filipovic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Weed to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Filipovic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Weed pulls down on the head and he's put Filipovic to sleep! This one is all over!
