Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hideaki Katsu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwan Seung Park!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Park, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Katsu changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Park tries to avoid it but Katsu manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Park to the ground. Park escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Katsu dodges the punch combination from Park.
Nice takedown defense from Park. No joy for Katsu on that attempt.
Park throws a series of punches but Katsu avoids them all with ease.
A lazy left from Park finds it's target.
Park rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Katsu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Katsu wants to finish this one by submission but Park is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Katsu.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Katsu is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Park can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Park is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Katsu changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Park looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Park pushes Katsu away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Katsu gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Katsu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Park keeps working.

Park is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Katsu is controlling him well.

Katsu is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Park has escaped the position, nice work there.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Park can do anything to dispel that myth.

Katsu has hold of Park's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Park seems comfortable defending it but Katsu has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Park is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Park is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Katsu couldn't care less - he's delighted!
