Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Igor Finashenkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and No Chance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, No Chance! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Finashenkov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Chance closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Finashenkov tries to kick Chance off but Chance keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Chance works his way into side control. Chance tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Chance goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Finashenkov rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Chance's guard! Nice work there by Finashenkov! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chance is on top in guard.
Chance is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chance drops back looking for a leg! Finashenkov is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Finashenkov manages to kick Chance off! Chance jumps back into Finashenkov's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Finashenkov wants to stand but Chance is controlling his arm. Finashenkov has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Finashenkov misses with a double jab.
Finashenkov bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chance's head. Finashenkov darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Finashenkov throws a shot from downtown. Chance moves away and avoids it. Finashenkov slaps away a takedown attempt from Chance, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chance circles away from the clinch attempt.
Finashenkov tries to bum rush Chance with a series of wild strikes but Chance uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Finashenkov sizes up Chance with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Finashenkov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Chance closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Finashenkov to the mat! Finashenkov manages to get full guard. Chance postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Finashenkov is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Chance, into his guard. Finashenkov tries to stand but Chance is controlling from the bottom. Finashenkov has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Chance looking for a guillotine here but Finashenkov defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Finashenkov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Chance is proving hard to escape from. Chance looking for a guillotine here but Finashenkov defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Igor Finashenkov will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Finashenkov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chance shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Chance is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Finashenkov defends it well. Finashenkov wants to get back to his feet.
Chance working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Finashenkov's thigh. Finashenkov counters though and makes it back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Finashenkov is looking to stand up but Chance isn't so interested in that idea.

Chance drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Finashenkov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chance has Finashenkov in his guard. Finashenkov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Chance's guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chance controlling the position. Finashenkov wants to get up but he can't break Chance's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Chance is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Chance is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Finashenkov's half guard. Finashenkov is defending against the submission attempts here by Chance.

Chance is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Finashenkov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chance tries for a kimura but Finashenkov is defending well. That's four minutes gone in the round. Chance thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Chance is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Finashenkov is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Chance has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Finashenkov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Chance yanks on the arm and Finashenkov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Chance.
