Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Pickles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, John Tiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mr Pickles! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickles shoots in but no luck this time. Pickles fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Tiger sprawls well initially but Pickles persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Tiger is controlling Pickles's trapped leg to prevent Pickles from advancing to side control. Still in half guard, Pickles seems content to control. Pickles wants to take a breather but Tiger is having none of it. Tiger trying to control but Pickles postures up.
Tiger is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pickles pulls his head out easily. Tiger looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Tiger is looking to control Pickles's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Tiger avoid being mounted? Pickles tries to pass to full mount but Tiger defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pickles moves out of range as Tiger strikes. Tiger shoots and misses and Pickles counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Tiger wants to get back to full guard. Tiger is breathing heavily. Pickles keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Pickles trying to pass the guard but Tiger defending well. Pickles lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pickles controlling the pace. Pickles working over Tiger with some ground and pound. Tiger looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Pickles winds up and cracks Tiger with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Tiger regains full guard. Nicely done. Tiger not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Pickles trying to control the position from guard on top but Tiger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickles has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Tiger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pickles is one step ahead there. Pickles drops back looking for a leg! Tiger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tiger manages to kick Pickles off! Pickles jumps back into Tiger's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tiger throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Tiger tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Pickles paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pickles changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tiger looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Pickles dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Tiger tries for a takedown but Pickles circles away easily and Pickles counters with a takedown into side control. Pickles stands up and beckons Tiger to his feet. Tiger gets the takedown into side control. Tiger throws an elbow but Pickles slips to the side and avoids it well. Pickles is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Pickles makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Pickles. Tiger wants to control from the top but Pickles keeps moving. Tiger forces his way into half guard. Pickles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Tiger is stalling here. Pickles is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Tiger seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Pickles has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiger tries to buck Pickles off but Pickles is having none of it. Pickles working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Mr Pickles has got the better of the ground game so far. Pickles taking a breather here. Tiger regains half guard. Pickles tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Tiger. Tiger moves into full guard.
Tiger is trying to keep Pickles in close.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tiger wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Pickles is now in half guard. Pickles stalling. Tiger gets full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tiger is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pickles is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tiger decides to pull guard. Tiger keeping moving, preventing Pickles from controlling successfully. Tiger is trying to keep Pickles in close.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr Pickles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Tiger's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!
Pickles with a poor takedown and Tiger counters by moving into the clinch. Pickles can't break the clinch.
Tiger can't break the clinch.
Pickles wants to get back to striking at distance but Tiger won't allow it.
Tiger tries to pull guard but Pickles holds him up against the cage and eventually Tiger drops back down to his feet.
Tiger tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Pickles jumps into guard, dragging Tiger to the mat.
Pickles is trying to control the position but Tiger postures up. Tiger stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pickles swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tiger wants to control from the top but Pickles keeps moving. Tiger gets to his feet. Pickles looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Tiger with a poor takedown and Pickles counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Tiger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickles lands a couple of elbows. Pickles stopping the sweep attempt from Tiger. Tiger is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Tiger wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Tiger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pickles can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tiger is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pickles won't allow Tiger to sweep him here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickles content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tiger has a closed guard, preventing Pickles from standing up. Tiger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pickles is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tiger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pickles's back instead. Pickles is keeping busy.
Tiger is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Pickles has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Tiger trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Tiger has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Pickles is defending well but eventually Tiger manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Pickles has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
