The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamehameha fails to land the takedown.
Kamehameha wants to clinch.

Kamehameha shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Du Monde's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Du Monde preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Du Monde is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kamehameha accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Du Monde is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kamehameha is controlling him.
Kamehameha throws and elbow that misses. Du Monde uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kamehameha's guard. Nice move by Du Monde!

Du Monde has his feet on Kamehameha's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Kamehameha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Du Monde tries to avoid it but Kamehameha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Du Monde to the ground. Du Monde escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
La Fin Du Monde has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Samson Kamehameha.

Du Monde fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Kamehameha looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Kamehameha throws a shot from downtown. Du Monde moves away and avoids it.
Du Monde throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Du Monde lands a nice hook to Kamehameha's body. Kamehameha takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
