Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drey Severence (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Severence has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The key to victory for Gabriel Tavares has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tavares moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Severence misses with a looping left.
Severence misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Severence fails with a takedown attempt.
Severence tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Severence looks gassed!
Tavares avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drey Severence seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tavares lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A solid leg kick lands there for Tavares.
Severence chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Tavares can pounce on him.
Tavares works over Severence's head and body with a nice combination.
Tavares scores with a crisp jab that stopped Severence in his tracks.
Tavares plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Tavares throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Severence stumbling backwards into the cage! Severence bounces back off the cage towards Tavares, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Tavares lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Tavares celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
