Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva moves into the clinch.
McMackin blocks an elbow strike from Silva.
McMackin fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Silva breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Silva moves in looking to clinch but McMackin pushes him off.
McMackin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Silva looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for McMackin!
McMackin is trying to stand up.
McMackin sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
McMackin is looking to improve his position.

McMackin tries to hold on but Silva postures up.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Silva cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
It looks like PJ McMackin has been cut.
McMackin tries to hold on but Silva pushes him away.
Silva lands a big shot there that rocks McMackin but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
McMackin tries to reverse the position but Silva maintains control.
Silva avoids the attempt from McMackin to control.
Silva goes for an armbar but he's not got it… McMackin turns into him and now he's in Silva's guard.
Silva looking for a sweep. Not yet Silva, not yet.
Silva looks gassed!
McMackin trying to control the position from guard on top but Silva is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Silva has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McMackin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Silva wants to sweep but no luck.
Silva looking to control but McMackin passes into half guard.
Silva wants to get back to full guard but McMackin has passed into side control.
A nice elbow there by McMackin.
McMackin is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Silva is surviving well by controlling McMackin's body position as best he can.
Silva is wriggling around trying to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva tries to hold on but McMackin postures up.
Silva gets back to half guard.

Silva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
McMackin lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Silva controls McMackin momentarily but McMackin frees himself.
Silva has his foot on McMackin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McMackin works his way back into a safe position though.

McMackin decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Silva, up you get!

McMackin manages to regain half guard. Good work.
McMackin regains full guard. Nicely done.
McMackin controlling Silva's posture.
McMackin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Silva's guard.
McMackin is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
McMackin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McMackin working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

McMackin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
David Silva dominated that round.
The cut man is working on PJ McMackin's cut.
That's time! McMackin's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
McMackin doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Silva counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
McMackin kicks Silva off and gets to his feet.
Silva cracks a nice hook into McMackin's ribs.
Silva gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Silva has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. McMackin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Silva breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Silva keeps control of McMackin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
McMackin is looking to break free of the clinch but Silva has double underhooks.
Silva is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McMackin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McMackin manages to pull guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva stands up from guard. Let's bang!
McMackin tries for a takedown but Silva circles away easily
and Silva counters with a single leg into guard. McMackin didn't expect that.
Silva wants to control from the top but McMackin keeps moving.
McMackin wants to sweep but no luck.
McMackin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Silva doesn't defend quickly enough and McMackin has managed to lock this one up! Can Silva escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McMackin on a fantastic submission victory.
