Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Crewe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Davids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Crewe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Longest Yard. Davids has chosen The State Of Massachusetts - Dropkick Murphys as his entrance music. Marcus Davids has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crewe connects with the punch.
Davids takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Crewe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Crewe lands a nice shot that snaps Davids's head back.
Crewe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Davids misses with a hook. Crewe ducked under it nicely.
Davids tries to clinch up.
Davids misses with a double jab.
Davids swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Crewe cracks Davids with a big right hand and Davids goes down!

Davids is rocked!
Crewe is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Crewe passes Davids's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Crewe keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Crewe trying to mount his opponent but Davids defends it.

Davids is in trouble now - Crewe has advanced to mount!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Crewe controlling his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Paul Crewe just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
A shot to the body from Davids misses
enabling Crewe to counter with a crisp jab.

Crewe drops Davids with a right and a left! Crewe comes rushing in but Davids regains his composure and manages to keep Crewe in guard.
Crewe trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Davids can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crewe controls the pace.
Crewe pushes down on Davids's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Davids looks gassed!

Davids stops Crewe from passing to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Crewe laying and praying for a moment but Davids takes advantage and regains half guard.
Davids is controlling Crewe's position as best he can from this difficult position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crewe uses his free foot to push down on Davids's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Davids.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Davids is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Crewe tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Davids takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Crewe fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Davids looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Crewe connects with a single shot there.
Davids gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Davids misses with a double jab
and Crewe counters with a nice uppercut.
Crewe scores with a hook to the body. Davids takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Crewe lands a body shot.
Paul Crewe is winning the standup battle so far.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A nice combination there by Crewe.
Crewe catches Davids with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Davids is breathing heavily.
Crewe drops Davids with a big left hand! Davids is injured, injured bad! Crewe jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
