Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Monstra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rekord Nadoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Monstra's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Slayer - Hate Worldwide. Rekord Nadoev told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rekord Nadoev!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Aleksandr Martynov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monstra slips a jab and a cross from Nadoev.

Nadoev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Monstra.

Monstra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nadoev manages to avoid it.

Monstra throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nadoev.

Monstra scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Monstra scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nadoev doesn't seem bothered though.

That has opened up Rekord Nadoev's cut even more.
Monstra rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nadoev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nadoev takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Monstra works the jab nicely.
Monstra lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Nadoev can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Monstra and Nadoev drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Monstra.
