The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kovban tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thatcher paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Thatcher lands with a kick to the temple. Kovban shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

The fight stays on the outside here - Thatcher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Kovban tries to kick Thatcher off in order to stand up. Thatcher Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Despite being in the dominant position, Charles Thatcher just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Thatcher has good solid back control here.
I really don't envy Kovban right now.
Charles Thatcher is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Kovban is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Thatcher's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
You can see the frustration on Kovban's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Charles Thatcher comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Thatcher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
