Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Will Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daanish Hussain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Will Harmon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Daanish Hussain! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harmon shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Harmon tries for a takedown but Hussain sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Harmon chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Harmon has a takedown stuffed. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Will Harmon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harmon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hussain stuffs the takedown attempt from Harmon. Harmon gets slowly back to his feet. Harmon tries to clinch up but Hussain circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harmon tries a head kick but it misses.

Harmon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hussain pinned against the cage. Hussain gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hussain decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Hussain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Harmon wants to improve his position but Hussain is controlling well.
Hussain tries to pass the half guard into mount. Harmon knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Hussain is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Hussain is looking to advance position but Harmon won't allow it. Harmon tries to get to full guard but Hussain has control of the leg. Harmon is breathing heavily.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Harmon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hussain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Hussain passes Harmon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hussain wants to free his trapped foot but Harmon is holding on for dear life with his legs. Harmon tries to roll over but Hussain keeps him under control.
 That's three minutes gone in the round.

Hussain wants to work for an arm triangle but Harmon is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Hussain looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Harmon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Hussain counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Harmon!

Hussain is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Harmon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Harmon is looking to get to half guard. Harmon is working hard here to advance position.
Hussain looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Harmon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hussain looking to secure an arm triangle but Harmon defends it well. Harmon is looking to improve his position but Hussain isn't that keen on the idea. Hussain is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Harmon is in real trouble.

Harmon throws a head kick but Hussain moves out of range.
Hussain closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Hussain is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Harmon has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hussain wants to pass the guard but Harmon is defending well.

Hussain is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Harmon is surviving well by controlling Hussain's body position as best he can.

Hussain looking to break Harmon's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Harmon remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hussain will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Hussain looking for the choke from the back. Harmon manages to reverse the position and now he's in Hussain's guard. Nice work there by Harmon.
Hussain manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harmon manages to get himself to full guard.
Hussain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hussain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Harmon escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hussain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hussain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Hussain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Hussain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Harmon swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Harmon has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hussain can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Hussain passes Harmon's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hussain has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Harmon keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hussain has control of Harmon's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Harmon regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Harmon working to try and regain half guard.
Hussain fails to move to back control. Harmon is trying desperately to improve position.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Hussain wants to finish this one by submission but Harmon is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hussain. Harmon prevents Hussain from taking his back. Hussain moves to the back position.
Harmon defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Hussain's arms. Hussain doesn't have the hooks in and Harmon manages to turn into his guard.
Harmon tries to free his leg and advance position but Hussain is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hussain is on top in guard.
Harmon is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Hussain frees his head nicely. Oh but Harmon has switched to an armbar! Hussain is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
