Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jeremiah Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Roberts told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Bruno Lombardi and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brody closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Roberts looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Roberts gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Brody.
Brody breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Nice sprawl there from Brody as Roberts shoots in.
Horrible takedown by Brody or perhaps it was just good defense by Roberts which made him look bad.

Roberts swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Brody is now in Roberts's guard. A big mistake from Roberts there, giving up the dominant position!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jim Roberts is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Roberts jumps guard but Brody stands there with Roberts around his waist. Roberts gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jeremiah Brody.
I think Roberts has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
