Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Micheals (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tidal Wave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Micheals comes to the cage accompanied by Clint Eastwood. Wave comes into a darkened arena with his song building. One Of These Days kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wave takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Micheals throws a body kick that misses.
Micheals is looking to clinch.
Micheals cracks Wave with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wave blocks a head kick by Micheals.
Micheals shoots in for a takedown but Wave shows good takedown defense.

Wave drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Wave being controlled here momentarily.
Micheals trying to keep a closed guard but Wave is proving a slippery customer.
Micheals throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Wave lands a couple of elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Micheals is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wave makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Wave working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Wave is working for a kimura but Micheals is defending it quite comfortably.

Wave seems to be looking for submissions.
