The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Medvedov.

Hopo sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Medvedov is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Medvedov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Hopo to score an easy takedown into full guard.
