The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilpin tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Amongero paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Gilpin is trying to maintain a safe position but Amongero gets an underhook and turns Gilpin into the cage.
Gilpin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Amongero smiles and moves away.

Amongero feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gilpin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Amongero doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Amongero manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Well Amongero has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
