The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira ducks under a wild hook from Zaire.
Oliveira avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zaire checks the leg kick nicely there.

Zaire throws a shot to the body.

Zaire lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Oliveira circles away quickly and effectively.
Zaire misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Oliveira.

Zaire pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oliveira slips a jab and a cross from Zaire.

Zaire ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oliveira moves away.
Zaire tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Zaire throws a right and a left that Oliveira avoids nicely.
Zaire throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oliveira fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Zaire is out of range.
Zaire moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Oliveira throws a nice outside leg kick.

Zaire misses the shot to the body.
Oliveira checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Oliveira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zaire.
Zaire comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Good leg kick by Oliveira there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Zaire will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Zaire throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oliveira misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zaire fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Oliveira is looking to chop away at Zaire's legs.
Zaire blocks a head kick by Oliveira.
A nice combination there by Zaire.
Zaire throws a body kick despite being completely out of range
and Oliveira counters with a takedown into side control.
Zaire dodges the ground and pound from Oliveira.

Oliveira advances to full mount.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oliveira has isolated one of Zaire's arms. Zaire looking to fight him off but Oliveira twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
