The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker shoots in for a takedown but Souza shows good takedown defense.
Nice uppercut there from Souza.

It looks like Kevin Walker has been cut.
Walker throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Souza's waist but Souza gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walker off to one side.

Souza feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Walker sprawling to the canvas! Walker rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Souza finish him?!

Walker is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker misses with a takedown attempt - Souza sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Oh Walker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Walker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
