Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas's entrance music is 4 In the Morning. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Greco has control of Thomas's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Thomas regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Greco swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Thomas is now in Greco's guard. A big mistake from Greco there, giving up the dominant position!

Thomas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Greco swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
