Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ray Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keast Kann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes to the cage accompanied by Stupid KId. Keast Kann has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ray Machine!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Keast Kann!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Richard Clark and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kann shoots in for a double leg but Machine sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Machine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kann swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Kann bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Machine is looking for a sweep.
Kann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machine keeps working.
Kann in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Kann is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Machine knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Machine is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Kann off and has taken his back!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kann is trying to break free.
Machine is trying to stick to Kann's back but Kann is turning into Machine. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Machine's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Kann.
Kann stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Machine swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Machine wants to stand but Kann is controlling the position.
Kann is pushing down on Machine's leg trying to pass to half guard. Machine is fighting to maintain full guard but Kann has managed to sneak the leg through.

Kann trying to control from Machine's half guard. Machine has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Machine looking to control.
Kann wants to control from the top but Machine keeps moving.
Kann stops Machine from standing up.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Kann is pushing down on Machine's leg trying to pass to half guard. Machine is fighting to maintain full guard but Kann has managed to sneak the leg through.
Machine might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kann wants to pass the guard but Machine is defending well.

Kann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kann stops Machine from getting back to his feet.

Kann is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Machine is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Machine has managed to free his arm - good work.
Machine is staying active underneath Kann, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Machine doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Kann.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Machine gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Machine is looking to stand up but Kann isn't so interested in that idea.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kann trying to control but Machine is working from the bottom.

Machine wants to sweep but no luck.
Machine trying to keep a closed guard but Kann is proving a slippery customer.

Machine looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Machine is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kann is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Kann shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Machine sprawls well. Machine wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kann gets slowly back to his feet.

Machine fails with the takedown

and Kann counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Kann not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Kann won't allow Machine to get back to his feet.
Kann advances position into side control!
Kann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Machine keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kann is looking to take a break and control but Machine is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Kann thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kann goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Machine has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kann but great work by Machine.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
A lull in the action here as Kann stalls from top position.

Kann might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Machine kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well Kann has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
