The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakay circles away from the clinch attempt.

Sakay rushes Cricket and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cricket swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Sakay gets control of Cricket's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sakay will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Cricket is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Cricket stands up and waves to Sakay to follow him.

Sakay shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Cricket manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Sakay decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Sakay avoids the head kick by Cricket.
Cricket fails with the takedown.
Sakay keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Sakay shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Sakay was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Cricket is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Sakay avoids the attempt from Cricket to control.

Sakay goes for an armbar but Cricket turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Cricket.
Cricket trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sakay's guard.

Sakay is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Cricket lands a couple of decent looking shots.
