Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Reima Maansiirto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Hardwood (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Maansiirto wants to finish this one by submission but Hardwood is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Maansiirto.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maansiirto is really struggling to control Hardwood but he's trying to hold on to the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Hardwood rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Maansiirto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Maansiirto is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Hardwood has escaped the position, nice work there.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
You can see the frustration on Hardwood's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Reima Maansiirto overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Maansiirto wants to take Hardwood's back here but Hardwood is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Maansiirto jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Hardwood is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Hardwood and Maansiirto has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Maansiirto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Maansiirto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
