The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richardson has a takedown stuffed.

Richardson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rask is looking to reverse the position.
Rask looks to move to half guard but instead Richardson has passed into mount! Damn!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Richardson wants to take Rask's back but he can't do it this time.
Rask tries to hold on but Richardson postures up.

Rask really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Richardson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rask is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Rask is desperately trying to improve his position but Richardson has a good base and remains in mount.
Rask tries to hold on but Richardson pushes him away.

Richardson is working for a guillotine from mount but Rask frees his head quite easily.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Richardson is trying to take his opponent's back.

Richardson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Richardson throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Rask has his hands clasped together but Richardson breaks the hold and Rask is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Richardson!
